I always check this site on my day off. Pray that by now the fever is long gone. For a kid who I'm sure you limited fluids for two years and now is supposed to drink a ton, he must be confused and surely not used to drinking so much. I feel for you all but one day at a time. Easy for me to say, hard for you all to get through. But God is faithful and he will surely hold you close in these hard times. We keep each other posted on all the progress at the hospital-MHP and everyone sends their love and prayers for you all.

Mike compared the post surgery days to the RE46 shifts. I remember those days like yesterday, but remember every thing after RE46 is a walk in the park. He has been critical for three weeks so two new transplant recipients on my mind always. I was so glad to see the current update. I get on the website 4 - 5 times a day to see if there is any current news. I have been praying for all of you. We haven't seen a current picture of Brandon. I showed the website to Jami last night. He's so cute!!! I think he has the "Nolan" eyes. Hope both of your recoveries go quickly and well. Love Aunt Debbie
Hello all! I am glad to hear that everything went and is still going good up there. I love and miss all of u and I can't wait till everyones home and healthy! Thanks for the update, as a mother of two preemie babies (1 lb.4oz & 1 lb.8oz)that both had surgeries one week after they were born, and all those tubes and iv's running through their bodies, i know what you are going through and i am constantly praying for you and your son. There may be some ups and downs, but stay strong (pray). Jim we all miss you here and i am trying my best to keep everyone updated on you and your family. take care

What a great update! We were excited to hear that you had been released from the hospital and that Brandon has been moved out of ICU. All of this can only mean one thing - everyone's prayers are helping to bring all of you home sooner.

I was just at PGH Tuesday and I sat in the parking lot thinking of you guys wondering how things were going...
